2020 senior photos are still happening because this years traditional time frames went out the window. Hahahahaha However, I am booked up until mid July and most of the fall already. The amount of online forms I get each day are insane. I feel so blessed and thank you all for your support.
Grace did soooo good during her senior photoshoot. I found out during her session that getting her photo taken wasn’t her favorite, but she was having a great time. And this girl is soooo pretty I don’t know how she isn’t always taking selfies! hahahaha. Loved getting to hang out with this girl and capture these memories.
This sweet couples November wedding can’t come soon enough!!! I just adore these two! Both Ruth & Tyler have such an easy going & fun personality. They were so chill and excited about the whole process. I absolutely loved their outfits!! I can’t get enough of Ruth’s blue flowy dress!
Their downtown Cullman photos are definitely my favorite! I love rooftops though! However, their photos from the Clarkson Bridge look like they just stepped out of The Notebook! sooo romantic! Gahhhhh!!! I just am looking forward to this fall when they say, “I do.”
Alex Joseph’s senior photoshoot may be the most high end fashion-looking photos I have ever taken. When you look through her blog images you will see what I mean! They just look super upscale and magazine worthy. And that sounds ridiculously self elevating of me to say about my own photography, but it wasn’t just my photography skills. Alex has taken modeling classes and the mixture of that plus my photography experience produced incredible results.
I’m just so in love with all these pictures. And in full transparency, I have been pushing my own creative boundaries lately. As an artist it’s easy to stay in the comfortable places out of fear. But lately I have felt confidence through a renewed revelation of my identity in Christ that is even showing up in my photos!! The Lord will shine through us on more than just Sunday mornings if we allow him to. I am lost in his love and enjoying this freedom that even shows up creatively.
Gracey & Isaac’s spring wedding day was sweet as ice cream, full of so much love, and truly stunning. I met up with these two over a year ago to go over their wedding day details. I could tell even then the love they have for each other. They are the couple that just goes […]
When does summer officially start? Do we still even follow that calendar rule or just decide for ourselves? I say summer has started! Or it’s SUPER close!! Either way, the sunshine can’t be stopped and neither can the fun!! It was such a blast getting to take Ella’s senior photos.
This free spirited happy gal is just too fabulous! I loved her style and and her awesome chill vibes. She just went with the flow and it totally paid off. I love her photos so much. Especially the ones of her on this beautiful bridge.
When in doubt, wear red!!! I LOVE photographing my seniors in all the colors, but RED just demands to be seen. It POPS beautifully. And that is exactly what Mary Ellen does too. This gorgeous girl stands out in the most fun way! I had such a fantastic time with her during her senior photoshoot.
And those green eyes she has!!! 😍 She is just a total cutie with such a great personality too. We were so grateful for gorgeous weather on this fabulous day! Basically all the positive adjectives can describes this session and I’m not holding back! Mary Ellen is superb and her photos are all stunningly pretty as can be!
Twirling back into the photography scene with the most magical senior photoshoot!! Blair & butterflies are making my photography dreams come true. This adorable senior definitely knows how to social distance in style! And she is so fun too!! When Blair showed up with toilet paper and a mask that she wanted incorporated into here session I was all in! I LOVE when my seniors are down for out of the box & hilarious creativity!
We really are living in the most unprecedented times, but there is still beauty to be found in it all. The joy of the Lord is our strength and fear is not good on the immune system. Dance in nature, enjoy spring produce, find a house plant to help grow, pet your fur baby, live this beautiful life!! This is the day the Lord has made! I will rejoice.
“So the shelter-in-place starts at 5pm tomorrow. Are you game for doing a sunrise session?” was what I asked Ella this time last week. And her response was an amazing yes which led to the most gorgeous senior photos. Now let me tell y’all something, I’m not a morning person. Ughhhhh I hate waking up early sooo much, but sun rise sessions are truly magical.
Ella did so AMAZING during her senior photoshoot too! She was up for doing anything and every pose I gave her she nailed. We both had such a good time going around to all the best photo spots while still maintaining a 6 foot distance. I am so excited that we were able to still celebrate Ella’s senior year and still follow the government safety orders. Ella is a beautiful inside and out and it shows!
The good ole days with Nicole before an annoying virus had us all sheltered-in-place. I had the best time with this beautiful girl during her senior photoshoot. Her go-with-the-flow happy spirited attitude was my favorite. All her photos turned out so amazing and I can’t stop staring at the ones of her in her blue prom dress.
I’m so glad that I got to capture these beautiful memories for her in the midst of all the craziness. Being a senior is still super awesome and deserves being celebrated. As soon as this shelter-in-place is over at the end of this month I will be right back out there using my camera to celebrate my seniors! Insert virtual confetti here because it’s gonna be a party! 🎉 🥳
I call Chloe’s senior photoshoot, “Poodles of fun with donuts & a goat” because that is exactly how it went down. This girl is one-of-a-kind fantastic. When she was emailing me about wanting to be photographed with a goat I was like, “Okay… Ummm… YES!” I love out of the box stuff like this that make the whole creative process even funner. “Bring your goat!! Bring your dog!!! Bring your donuts!!!” is always gonna be my reply!!! hahahahaha.
I really need funny random pleasure of life like this right now. The pandemic blues hit me in waves. One day I’m like, “this is totally okay!! I’ll buy cute work out clothes for home, cook healthy meals and enjoy house projects with Michale & AJ” then the next day I’m like, “I’ll eat an entire pan of brownies by myself, cry that everything sucks and watch cartoons all day with AJ.” It’s called balance people!!! hahahaha I believe it’s okay to give ourselves grace while we all navigate how to survive our first pandemic. And that’s why I’m grateful for the fun memories of this day before shelter -in-place was declared for our area. I was smiling so big while getting these ready for Chloe. She really is an amazing beautiful girl with an incredible future in front of her! She is the G.O.A.T girl!!! 😆
