I had a great time taking Hawken’s senior photos on Sunday. He is incredible on the track field so it was fun capturing him in his element. This boy can run and jump really high! I did my best to keep up! ? He also showed me a great photo spot next to Hartselle High School’s track. I could have hung out in that area all day!

These photos were also extra special because Hawken’s dad was my husbands boss for a few years. It has been such a privilege getting to know this sweet family. We visited their house for a bible study and Hawken’s dad saved us a couple of years ago when a tree fell in our yard. We were so grateful when he showed up and helped Michael chop it up and carry it off. Life is certainly better with great friends & a great community!

An adorable fur baby and a surprise visit by a random horse made Destany & Coleman’s engagement session extra awesome. And let me tell ya, it was sooooo cold!!! These two are total champs for smiling through this chilly day. You really just never know what you are going to get with Alabama weather considering a week ago it was in the seventies.

I am so excited to meet up with these two again on a warmer day in April to photograph their wedding! They are such a sweet couple and I’m so happy to get to capture all these memories. I’m also hoping that the random horse wants to hang out again when Destany is in her wedding dress! ?

This beautiful and intimate New Years Day wedding was the best way to start the year off. When Shelby contacted me about photographing her mom’s wedding ceremony on a golf course I was so excited. I was especially pumped about it because number one, I just love Shelby. She is a SUPER talented makeup artist who I really enjoy working with. Plus I’ve become connected with her through small town mutual friends. There is just great friend chemistry there!

Number 2, I thought it was so sweet that Rachel and Jimmy were getting married on New Years Day. It’s wonderful seeing who God brings together and getting to capture it. Congratulations Rachel & Jimmy! May the Lord bless you. with many amazing years together. I’m so happy for you both!

I have a confession! Photographing redheads is my favorite!!! Especially redheads with gorgeous green eyes! Erin could legit be a model & then she would be famous & then obviously I would have to be her personal photographer. We would then be traveling to exotic places so she could do model things while I capture it all. But then we would crave bbq, college football, monogrammed accessories, sweet tea and all the other southern staples. Bless our hearts, guess will have to stick around. ???

For real though, I had the BEST time with Erin this past weekend taking her senior photos. She is super sweet and incredibly photogenic. I love the woodsy vibes in her pictures for the second two outfits. She can pull off any look though. After I meet up with my senior’s, I continue to follow them online and I can’t wait to see her do well in college next year too. She is such gem! ❤️
