Meet Katie! She is the cutest! She is obviously gorgeous with her fabulous blue eyes, but when she showed up with her pink vintage skates I was in love. LIKE SO IN LOVE! I feel like some of the photos of her skating around have such LA vibes and I’m all about it. Also her red dress in front of the Princess Theatre is amazing! I think that’s such a cool location idea for her since she is planning to study theatre in college and eventually go on to be a theatre teacher.

Katie just overall has the coolest style. Later on, she whipped out her vintage watch and I felt like she had a “Stranger Things” feel to her attire. She then told me how much she loved “Stranger Things.” I really do love my ability to not only take a beautiful photo, but to take the time to get to know my seniors. While we are out shooting I pay attention to what their personality and personal clothing choice is saying about them. I want to show them for who they are. So glad I got to capture this stunning girl! Katie you are beautiful!

David & Kaite’s engagement photos are sooo stunning! It sure helps when you have a pretty couple, amazing weather and epic scenery. Michael & I are so excited for their wedding this November. Whenever you are around them you can tell how much they love each other. That’s why we are super pumped to also be showcasing a romantic engagement video we shot during their session soon too. Stay tuned for that because it is so sweet.

Chloe oh Chloe! Where do I even begin with this incredibly gorgeous spunky girl. There are some people you meet that you just have instant chemistry with and Chloe was definitely my kind of fun! She had such an awesome” just-roll-wit- it-attitude.” We kept thinking that we would have to cancel her senior photoshoot because the weather was predicting rain, but then about a couple of hours before the weather completely changed and predicted sunshine. I messaged her and asked if she still wanted to go for it and she wasn’t even sure the arrangements she made for her hair to be done were still available but she chose to just wing it. She was rewarded with fabulous weather and seriously some of my favorite pictures ever!

I love love love her style too! My favorite colors to photograph are reds and pinks because they just pop against downtown scenery and also in fields too. Check out the adorable pictures of her in the cutest pink pants! OHH and the pictures of her in front of Hartselle High School are AMAZING!!!! I love how Hartselle has red cap and gowns because like I said a minute ago, that color just really pops! Plus Hartselle High School is such a pretty backdrop. That school is nice! Anyways, LOVE Chloe & LOVE how her senior photos turned out! ❤️?

The pictures of Peyton and her big blue eyes while drinking her coffee in downtown Huntsville are definitely my favorite! And let me tell ya what, Peyton and I worked our booties off to get these gorgeous shots. We had no idea that her scheduled senior photoshoot also happened to be on the same day that everyone and their brother was celebrating fifty years since Apollo 11 with a “Party like it’s 1969” theme! ? There were people everywhere, parking no where and we did some serious cardio to get from location-to-location! The effort was completely worth it because all of her photos turned out BEAUTIFUL! But then look as this pretty girl! How could they not be. ?

Peyton had the total works! We did coffee, flowers, ice-cream, lights and a rooftop sunset! She did so good and at the end of the night we were downing some bottles of water because Alabama summers are hot!! Sweaty hugs, beautiful memories and lots of love for Peyton! ???

Hollee’s senior photoshoot went so amazing!!! It was a SUPER HOT day in Alabama, but she brought the real heat! hahahaha. Hollee wanted to go for it all so we did the whole shebang on this day. After taking this beautiful girls photos I showed up at home looking like I just went to wild summertime party! I was covered in confetti & smelled like fireworks rolling in after dark.

that day and the confetti that I’m still finding in my shoes was totally worth it because all her photos are FABULOUS! I’m so excited to see her rock it out her senior year and go off to college too. Hollee is going wonderful places!!

Aleah is so naturally gorgeous!!! She is a total head turner with those blue eyes, blonde hair and her beautiful smile. I’m so glad I got to do her senior photoshoot because she is actually a 2019 senior. My senior photoshoots really blew up in the most blessed way this past year and I was completely booked when I got her request. She was willing to wait for me and do them this summer and I love her for that!

Check out the fun we had a The Waffle House too! I always like to show the individual personalities of my seniors so I asked Aleah if she had a favorite place. I was all in when she said her happy place was The Waffle House! Any senior photoshoot that includes a chocolate chip waffle break while getting pretty pictures taken sounds like a win to me. Plus it was nice to get out of the heat and get some A/C because Alabama summers are hot! Also, there are some cute ones that her boyfriend Josh jumped in on. I think having fun with a friend, boyfriend or family member that tags along is a great way to loosen up, feel comfortable and catch your authentic happy self! The day is 100% about you, but if they can assist in getting those big ole smiles then I’m all about it!

I loved getting to capture this beauty! I’ve been following Lydia on Instagram for a couple of years always admiring her bomb makeup skills. She is seriously a master at applying all the products. When she messaged me about doing her senior photoshoot I was so excited.

Lydia is going to be going to Paul Mitchell Cosmetology school this fall and that could not be a more perfect choice. As I already described above she is the bomb dot com at all that jazz. Aside from capturing her adorable self, I really just enjoyed getting to know her too. She is an artsy soul with a really big heart. My kinda people. This shoot was overall wildly successful but my favorites are at the end when we decided to have some fun at Krispy Kreme. I think those photos have a “Riverdale” vibe. That’s what I was kind of going for too. ?

My first 2020 Senior of the year!! Nia and her mom go to church with me so we’ve been talking about her senior photoshoot for a while now. I wanted to kick the year off with something new so we went to the Huntsville Botanical Garden. All the flowers there are so gorgeous! It made for the best spot! And now I want to go back there next chance I get. Only catch is that the botanical garden charges one hundred dollars per two hours of photographing in there if you are a professional photographer. That does include entrance for four people too. It’s regularly $14 per person to get in so it’s not a huge difference but still an increase for sure!

Anyways, it was totally worth the drive to Huntsville because Nia’s photos are ohhhhh so pretty as can be! I really love down town Huntsville too. Nia did The Beatles walk across the street and it was hilarious! You should have seen us trying to dodge cars to get those fun pictures. My shoots always end in laughter and I wouold’t have it any other way! ?

Some girls are just born with on fire model moves and Lizzy is one of those girls. I always have poses for those I’m photographing so you’re never lost. I make sure you always know what to do with your hands! hahahaha. But there are those who just take my initial poses and then just start moving into other poses like a perfectly planned dance. I’m so impressed with not only how gorgeous Lizzy is but her modeling skills. She just set my camera on fire.

I also loved her sunflowers themed idea. I have had requests for sunflower field photoshoots but sunflowers aren’t in bloom until fall but that wasn’t going to stop Lizzy. She showed up with her own bouquet of Sunflowers completely confident that we could nail the look. Absolutely loved it and the sunflower photographs look amazing. For those of you who are photographers, I held one of the sunflowers slightly in front of the camera to get the idea that we are peaking through a field of flowers.

How cute is Amelia!!! This gorgeous girl is going to be studying interior design when she goes off to college. I’m sure she will do amazing because I remember always seeing her in the art room when I was still teaching. She has the prettiest blue eyes and I had the best time capturing them last week. Her senior photoshoot was so fun.

I’m just way into these sunsets lately. This weekend I’m headed to the beach and I can’t wait to enjoy some beautiful warm beach sunsets. Those are just fantastic. Until then I’m glad I got to hang with Amelia by the water. It was a gorgeous evening to be out with my camera.
