Sydney & Sam are one of the sweetest couples! And let me tell ya’ll, Sam is a pro model! Yes, Sydney’s handsome fiancé has moves! hahaha. These two are just melting with love for each other and I’m excited for their wedding day in September 2021! So I have to wait patiently, because I’m super ready for it! It’s going to be so stunning and celebrated at The Witt House!! Ahhh just beautiful.

Also so grateful for the beautiful fall weather the Lord has been blessing us with. I’m loving wearing sweaters and drinking way more coffee than I really should be! hahaha. Birmingham has the best coffee shops and my artsy heart is loving it, but I think I’m a little loud for some of the quiet artsy types in there. I’m a loud artist! Like sling paint on Red Bull kinda artist! hahahahaha Love me through it! 😜

Imagine just hanging out by the water on a gorgeous cool evening with the one you love. Aliya & Collin are living their best life for sure! And I can’t get enough of Decatur, Alabama’s magical city skyline near the dock. We had such a good time meeting up for their engagement session. The first one was rained out like two seconds into their second outfit so I had to make sure they had the full experience.

It was fun at their first session. Especially the part where we were running for our cars as branches fell in downtown Huntsville. I seriously thought a tornado was going to touch down right there in front of me. That’s my Oklahoma years coming out! hahaha. I was so glad for an opportunity to meet up again and that we were still alive to do so. Honestly, I am just being dramatic. I love storms! They are just exciting. I don’t love them when I’m taking pictures, but obviously it all worked out in the end. Aliya & Collin are super photogenic and just sweet as can be. Their gallery is so stunning. I can’t wait for their May 2021 wedding!! May there only be sunshine! hahahaha

Totally worth the effort and I make sure you get LOTS of air conditioner breaks. There is nothing like bonding with your couple through car windows as everyone clings to the air conditioner vent like it’s life!!! 😂😂😂

I really do just LOVE these two! There are some souls you just connect with on that next level. My heart just feels super happy around this sweet couple. They love Jesus and each other with the most genuine affection. I can’t wait to capture their big day this fall! Jordyn & Daniel being adorable in the most intense Alabama heat as I holler “just pretend you’re in Hawaii!” hahahaha I have to do that a lot for my July sessions because this southern weather does not show any mercy. It has been super warm ya’ll! I give my seniors and couples lots of air conditioning breaks so we can push through. I remind them it will all be worth it when they are enjoying the photos from the comforts of their air conditioner later. They are always thrilled with the results!

Jordyn & Daniel were suppose to get married this past spring, but ya know, the rona ruined that. hahahah But the show must go on! They were married with a sweet intimate ceremony earlier this year and we are still looking forward to celebrating with a big wedding party this August!! Lots of prayers that the rona doesn’t strike again with shut downs!!! Either way, these two love big and I’m so happy to capture their love story.

Ivey & Andrew were such a fun couple to photograph last week! We met up in downtown Cullman and just had a great time with the best weather. Ivey has an amazing bubbly personality that I instantly connected with! We both are super social people. And Andrew was the easy going quiet type that reminded me of my husband. He was such a good sport and just went along with it all while smiling.

We are so excited about their February 2021 wedding day. These two are literally getting married in a castle and we couldn’t be more thrilled about it. It will be magical and we are counting down the days!

Darcy & Dalton are so adorable and their classic timeless style is my favorite. They look like they would be found strolling the streets of Paris. Engagement sessions in Birmingham are the best because the fantastic scenery never ends. Plus these two are just so photogenic!!

Their December wedding can not come soon enough! I’m so grate to Weddings by Taylor Folks for putting us in contact with each other. Only six more months to go until the big day!!! So excited!

This sweet couples November wedding can’t come soon enough!!! I just adore these two! Both Ruth & Tyler have such an easy going & fun personality. They were so chill and excited about the whole process. I absolutely loved their outfits!! I can’t get enough of Ruth’s blue flowy dress!

Their downtown Cullman photos are definitely my favorite! I love rooftops though! However, their photos from the Clarkson Bridge look like they just stepped out of The Notebook! sooo romantic! Gahhhhh!!! I just am looking forward to this fall when they say, “I do.”

Love is like wild flowers. It adapts and blooms through it all. I love how fields of flowers remind us to hold on and grow wherever we’ve been planted. These days I’m inspired by love stories that prevail through unknown outcomes. I guess I find myself being extra sentimental lately while realizing all the luxuries of life I took for granted. Getting to gather is such a privilege. I miss crowds of people at church and the energy of mass worship. I miss wedding days with too many people squeezed into small rooms excited for the occasion. I miss seeing everyone in Target while we are all really just there for things we don’t need. However, I remind myself that this is just a season. It will pass and until then I am enjoying large amounts of time with my family. And I am blessed to be able to still do what I love for my couples and seniors while maintaining a safe distance.

I just had such a connection with this sweet couple shown here. Taylor & Joe were such good sports during some chilly weather last week. This photo looks like it a nice warm spring day but Taylor in the cute little dress can assure that it was not! hahahaha. They were both just a lot of fun and I can’t wait for their wedding this fall.

Oh just a sweet engaged couple on a gorgeous spring day enjoying life during a pandemic. It’s so amazing that through all of this craziness love remains. A few weddings have been postponed until later in the year while a few others are still holding onto the hope this will pass quicker than expected. I’m holding onto that hope too! While praying and believing for a positive outcome sooner rather than later, I am still being hyper vigilant. I take all sanitary precautions and I’m grateful that I’m able to follow the CDC guidelines of 10 or less during engagement sessions. I usually hug my couples after a session, but not this season. It’s a very unfamiliar wave from afar.

I wish I could give Robin & Joseph the biggest hugs right now, because they were such a joy to photograph. Robin has such a positive upbeat personality and Joseph is the strong & silent type. hahahah 😂 I’m so excited for their wedding day.

Bailey & Matthew are the sweetest couple. This beautiful bride-to-be looked so stunning in her classic white dress with her handsome fiancé. A wide open field, golden spring sunset & two love birds make me so happy. This doesn’t even compare to what I will be capturing on their wedding day this fall.

And I just have to say something about how much I loved their style! light colored pieces with pops of color make for the most incredible photos. Luckily when you book a wedding with me you are sent an engagement session style guide on the best outfits to choose for your engagement session. Some colors just photograph better than others! Either way, these two are so good looking that they couldn’t take a bad picture. And I’m just extra pumped to captured their big day this year!! C’mon August!
