Shannon & Elli are the cutest couple and I’m so excited to see their sweet baby girl when she arrives. Violet Jean is definitely already blessed with wonderful parents. It was also really cool getting to take Shannon & Elli’s maternity photos, because it seems like just yesterday Michael and I were having ours taken. I felt so connected to this season in their life and relived it all. It really is beautiful. Shannon, Elli and sweet baby Violet Jean in her mama’s belly are beautiful.

I met the lovely Chelsea Vaughn while photographing Skylar & Colters wedding day. She was doing video and we really hit it off talking about wedding photography and video. Also, we were both in a our second trimester of pregnancy.

We exchanged contact information and I quickly drooled over her photography on instagram before asking if she would take my maternity pictures. And in a fun moment of opportunity she asked that I take hers as well. So voila, friendship was born!
