Emily is the cutest thing around!! I loved getting to capture her senior photos because this gorgeous girl was so much fun. We met up in Cullman and just had the best time talking and photographing her all over town. She even brought her sweet pup and those photos are super adorable. I love when my seniors bring their fur babies. Those are definitely memories worth collecting.
And Emily is so mature beyond her years. I felt like I could just hang out with her and have conversations on another level. I was snapping tons of photos as we talked until it was nearly dark. hahaha. We were both just having so much fun. I’m so in love with her senior photos too. She nailed every pose and her genuine sweet smile is my fav! I have so much love for you Emily! I hope you have the best senior year and I’m always here for you! 😘
This gorgeous fall day and this awesome guy right here are what happy senior photoshoots are made of! Drew was such a fun senior to photograph. I loved getting to take pictures of him with his gun and his baseball gear. It was just really cool capturing him with all the things he loved. It’s not hard to get a smile when you’re posing with stuff that makes you happy.
And all the photos from his senior photoshoot are making me so happy. I’m especially excited about him going to Samford next year. I hear the campus is really pretty and I want to go see for myself. I’m always keeping a look out for new amazing scenery.
Ally is an extra strong cup of awesome!! I had to make a coffee reference considering her senior photoshoot included the cutest photos at a cafe. The Red Cat Cafe in Birmingham is out of this world fantastic. I don’t know what they put in that coffee but I assume it’s brought in by magical creatures from another realm. That’s the most sensible answer. 😜 I just love their coffee.
And I love Ally too! Her and her mom were both the greatest. We had such a good time laughing and checking out beautiful spots in the city. Ally brought an adorable hat which made my creative photography heart ecstatic. Now I just need a senior to wear a halloween costume up in here! That would be so fun! Who wants their senior photos dressed as a unicorn?
Met up with this cutie in Huntsville for the most fabulous senior photoshoot! Bri is soooo gorgeous and her hair is perfection. She has the prettiest shade of chocolate brown hair with on point waves. And her hat!!! You guys know how I feel about hats!! She just nailed her photos in every spot!
It was fun exploring Huntsville on this amazing October day, The weather has just been incredible and I’ve enjoyed seeing the new murals that have gone up. I’ve heard that lots of cities have commissioned new murals be done by local artists and I love that! It’s such a great way to bring uplifting beauty to a community while also supporting local artists. And as a photographer, It’s new scenery!! The prettiest art on display here though is definitely Bri!! So pumped about her senior year!! She is a star!
This pretty blonde chick was born in Birmingham and chose this magical city to capture her senior year portraits. I loved getting to meet up with her, her sweet mom and grandmother. Three generations enjoying a beautiful day and celebrating this beautiful soul.
One of our favorite spots was definitely the Birmingham Botanical Garden. The rose garden smells like perfume from heaven. And it’s so fun to see the place crawling with other photographers all pumping out their creative vision. I’m one of those photographers that gets really excited seeing other photographers at work! I love the energy of it all. It’s like when you’re a surfer riding a wave and you see another surfer riding the waves too!! I’ve never actually surfed, but I imagine I would be cheering on those riding the same waves!!!
Hats off to the new!!! Senior year is all about about appreciating your grade school years while moving into your destiny. It is a time where goodbyes turn into adventurous hellos. And Nicolas definitely knows about adventure. If you check out all his photos you’ll find him climbing, exploring and basically freaking me out a little! He is a thrill seeker and chose Dismal Canyon for one of his senior photos locations.
Another super cool thing about this session is that it was on the day I was baptized at King’s Way College. The last time I was baptized I was a kid and I’m not sure where my head was. I was probably just thinking that getting in the pool of water sounded fun!! 😂 So this time I really felt the full impact of the decision I was making. It was beautiful! And then as you guys know, the Lord recently asked me to delete all my instagram posts and this session that is scheduled to be my first post after is the day I was reborn! I seriously didn’t plan it that way! Like I told you guys on a video, I was hoping to be obedient to the Lord by the end of the year. Ya know…, push it off. So it’s just cool how Jesus is in the details. Welp, hello to the new and never before seen! Life is such an adventure and I’m excited for all the places and people the Lord is leading me to! Nicolas was so fun and I wish him the happiest senior year.
Do you want to know the secret to bomb senior photos? It’s bringing an adorable hat! I’m so serious. Whenever you bring a cute hat to your senior photoshoot then you all of a sudden transform into America’s next top model! hahahaha! I think hats should be made mandatory! All Creative Dust clients now have a dress code that includes an obligatory hat! JK!!! But it’s a strongly advised idea especially for fall!
And hat’s off to Briley for being gorgeous and sooo fun to photograph! This bombshell showed up in Birmingham for the full level magic! You know this is called the magic city!! So I’m now making magic in the magic city… pretty epic stuff. 😂 Just look through these photos of Briley and you can tell the scenery upgrades! Wow! I’m so in love with getting to capture my incredible seniors in an area with so much to offer! So come on down to BHAM ya’ll! Love you tons Miss Briley! You are a doll!
Sydni is as sweet as she is beautiful. This super gorgeous girl did amazing during her senior photoshoot and I’m so glad the weather played nice! I’m grateful we dodged some crazy rain and had the most dreamy day! We did it big too! We were downtown, at The Waffle House, the gym and kicking it with nature. hahaha!
And I especially loved getting to take photos of Sydni at her favorite CrossFit gym, Golden Ape. It’s seriously the best getting to pull what’s personal to my seniors into their session. I love getting to showcase what they enjoy doing. These memories are best captured when they are able to authentically be in their element. And Sydni was definitely in hers! All her photos are incredible!! Love ya Sydni! Hope you have the best senior year ever!
Do you ever just instantly connect with someone in an explosive way? That is how I felt when I met up with Anna and her sweet friends for her senior photoshoot. Our hearts both burst with love for Jesus and there was a heavenly flow to this session! Our souls were in rhythm to the beat of another kingdom. There was a rainy sprinkle on this day that only watered our creativity and didn’t slow us down in the least. And I’m in love!
I am in love with getting the opportunity to use my gifts to pour Jesus into a generation that is hungry for his goodness. I’m in love with this stunning senior and her many talents! Did ya’ll know she is homecoming queen? And she is the most humble thing around too! She was persistent about not having too many photos with her crown and was way more concerned with making her bible look good! My kinda girl!! And all of heaven is cheering her on too! Anna, I’m so excited to watch God bless your senior year and your life! Thank you for being such a light. Getting to take your senior photos was such a dream! I love you girl and I’m always here for you!
Hello sunshine!!! <<< Is the unofficial title of Chloe’s senior photoshoot. This gorgeous ray of light is super sweet. Even though it is now fall we caught a nice warm shiny day but with all the stunning fall colors still peaking through. I love Yellow! I love all the colors, but yellow is just especially happy!
And I was just soo happy to get to photograph sweet Chloe once again! I first meet her when I did besties mini sessions a couple of years ago. Her and her squad showed up being adorable and we made camera magic. It was extra special now getting to capture this major milestone in her life. Your senior year is definitely worth celebrating and I’m so glad I got to do that with Chloe! This 2021 senior is glowing! Love ya Chloe!
